Rainy weather did not stop numerous guests from attending the exhibition launch on Thursday, 18 August. Musician Oleg Lapidus entertained the audience with saxophone and clarinet performances, playing both jazz and classical repertoire.   Guests and artists were dancing to the sounds of his new Bose L1 compact system.

Food sponsor of the Opening Night – The Fish Place seafood restaurant from Bridges Wharf in Battersea, came up with mouthwatering salmon canapes and tuna steaks.

The Spirit of Art curator Zina Bercovici chose the same venue for the summer show as back in March – La Galleria Pall Mall at 30 Royal Opera Arcade.  Just a step away from Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square La Galleria is known as the best contemporary art space in central London, that hosted a variety of high profile displays and auctions. It saw Kate Middleton’s see through dress by Charlotte Todd sell for £78000 in March this year. The entrance is opposite the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall.
